Hollywood's top earning actor
"If there’s one actor who has proved himself in-disposable, it’s Robert Downey Jr. The actor has made millions playing Iron Man and for the second year in a row, he tops FORBES’ list of the Top Earning Actors. We estimate that Downey earned $75 million between June 2013 and June 2014, the same amount as he earned last year.
Downey reigns as the highest paid man in Hollywood because at this point, it would be incredibly difficult for Marvel to continue making Iron Man and Avengers films without him. Marvel movies starring Downey have earned almost $4 billion at the global box office and millions more on home video, not to mention the millions the movies have generated in merchandise.
Disney, which owns Marvel, wants to keep that gravy train going for as long as it can and like it or not, that means paying Downey whatever he demands. The actor coyly held out during negotiations for the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and secured more money than ever upfront for the film. The movie is sure to be a huge hit and he’ll earn even more on the back end."

What a turn around.
And since he's already had his taste of hell, I suspect he's someone who isn't going to end poorly.
He is Iron Man after all. Perfect casting (and great writing in the Marvel movies).
At some point he'll depart, and the movies will do fine. He helped create an essential foundation but now they have their own momentum. And like with the Hulk, casting changes are sometimes even a surprising improvement.
Now with the second phase getting under way, I suspect Paul Rudd likely won't quite reach Downey's level. "I am Ant Man," doesn't have the same gravitas.
I'm having problems with the left key (the most important key) of my windows computer mouse.
Its almost impossible to post with this annoying problem. It's possible using arrow keys, the escape key and and the middle roller and the still functioning right key. but i haven't got the patience.
In short i don't know when i'll be posting again.
