Annie is shilling for Crack @ TOP! We need a Chubby Checker "How low can you go" for that Faustian deal.

I guess white guilt is contagious. He still hates y'all. You do realize that, don't you?

Everybody's a dreamer and everybody's a star
And everybody's in show biz, it doesn't matter who you are.

Except in the long run, it does.

Who, to you, is the most handsome/beautiful old-time movie star? For me, Gary Cooper. I'll have to think about the female I would pick. Proabably Ingrid Bergman.

Fredric March was extremely handsome in a totally upper-class way. Hollywood doesn't do that anymore, i.e. celebrate the cream. March and Myrna Loy were the epitome of the couple that lives on the hill in The Best Years Of Our Lives and, miracle of miracles, they were actually portrayed as decent people. A total no-no under today's sway of cultural marxism.

No cookie for you Little Debbie.

It is obviously John Wayne and the luminous Maureen O'Hara!

Trooper, I definitely put them in the top ten kiss/love scenes (in the rain) in The Quiet Man.

BTW, if you haven't already seen it, you might be interested in reading the short story, of the same name, it was based on. Doesn't follow the story line closely, but a beautiful story in its own right.

I had to look him up, ricpic. He's one of those I've heard of but didn't know what he looked like. I'll have to take a look at the best years of our lives.

Peter Lorre and Imogene Coco.

ricpic said...

With the lights out Lorre and Coco made just as passionate love as Pitt and Jolie.

There is no doubt that this is the all time most attractive married couple in show business history!

Whose that couple?

Based on years of watching Turner Classics, I independently came to the same conclusion as deborah a while ago.
Although Ethel and Ernie were certainly a handsome couple, I think Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman were the handsomest of all.
