Hey rh, you were a needy brat like that...once.

The kid has to learn that life is tough.

What we see here is the foundation of a lifelong personality disorder.

He doesn't want to end up like Gus Hall does he?

DENIED!

I so wanted that kid to be denied. That is John Kerry. That is Hillary Clinton. He is the sort I prefer seeing denied and made to settle down.

And not out of meanness either, out of the goodness and kindness of my loving heart.

The original throw was aimed at and intended to reach the first boy. That the second boy who also wanted the ball was able to edge into the scene, get the ball, know it really wasn't his, and give it to the first kid is an example of justice and mercy, the act of making something right, even though the first boy's behavior was out of control.

Yes, the kid had a meltdown, one which is recorded for posterity along with the second boy's response which will also be part of the story for both boys as they grow older. It's a good story.

I didn't enjoy seeing the dogs anticipate a treat that disappeared, and what the kid experienced was a similar "almost there" disappointment, although he handled it with less aplomb than the dogs.

Nice second kid.

Clearly not Harvard material.
