Off topic again, but I was introduced to Smooth McGroove
today, by the game playing younger SonM, and Smooth's music, attitude and perseverance made me smile and truly laugh outloud. In return for that treat, I offered the "Somebody I used to know" video from here, which was considered fair trade as he'd not seen the sign language version and like it a lot.

Thanks MamaM. My older brother just now wrote and said he was blown away by that. He saw people coming and going at the house and imagined that whole time we are turning English into sign. For him that is an insight, that they're not the same thing.

People in comments wonder how this pos Jurassic Park video has 4,000,000 views and wonder that too. It's not that funny to me but it is hilarious to others. And I don't know why.

My guess: Early primitive animal + early primitive instrument = amusing.

(1) That was pretty funny.

(2) I really like the soundtrack to the movie Amélie which is almost entirely instrumental. There's some melodica. Toy piano, too.

Some of the songs make me cry for no reason I can figure out.

I'm glad you said that; I'd never have put that together.
