The people of the Ukraine are asking the international community to engage in the process of adjustment in the situation in Ukraine. The message on their video reads:
* sanctioins against their president
* protection for Euro-Maidan
* provide faithful reporting on Ukraine
* control punishment of guilty people in the bloodshed
* to open possibility for change of authority in Ukraine

I think that memory of the Holomodor is a more powerful motive than anything the Tea Party has to work with.
Being swallowed up by Russia again probably infuriates Ukrainians.
Their experience with Commies is more intimate.
