"the president “doesn’t have to worry legally about lying.”"

“Even though the president and the Justice Department can prosecute people, Americans, who lie to the government, the president and the whole governmental apparatus are free to lie to us,” the judge [Napolitano] said.
According to Napolitano, President Obama’s lie is the most egregious. “Richard Nixon told a lie about his personal knowledge of a third-rate break-in, burglary. Bill Clinton told a lie about a personal sexual liaison. Barack Obama has told a lie repeatedly, readily, consistently, systematically, over and over again that will affect the wealth, the health of millions of innocent Americans. The first two […] are so insignificant compared to these lies.”

Any time a President lies to the American people (especially if he shakes his finger in their faces as he does it), people do not forget.

It's bullshit more than a lie.

He's just community organizing.

The public housing winds up in ruins but he will have moved on.

Economics only applies to the people left to pick up the pieces.

Obama doesn't have to worry about consequences for breaking any laws. Eric Holder has his back.

This is where the left lies of "Bush lied, People died" pays off. Of course, Bush didn't lie, and plenty of facts back of that claim. While Obama has lied, and people will likely die earlier than they should.

1984 happened about 30 years late, but it is happening.

He's still lying.

The administration claims the process will be fixed 11-30. But Sebelius admitted the testing timeframe was 5 weeks shortly before they announced the new deadline. To meet that timeline they had to be in the testing phase immediately with no significant errors discovered during the process. But we know they weren't in testing phase (and still aren't), and we know there are significant errors.

But remember when it crashed they claimed to be building the site for 20-50k concurrents. Given the compressed time frame and the large number of people kicked off their plans the system needs to be able to process 500k to 1M people a day.

So the new estimate is an impossibly optimistic plan to meet a hopelessly inadequate requirement without testing. 11-30 is going to be another disaster, which of course the left will excuse because a few people will be able to enroll.

Every time some leftist claims it's not a big deal because so and so enrolled or that the penalty date was postponed or that's it's "just a few quirks" remember the key issue is supposed to be people actually losing their health insurance, which happens 1-1 if they can't enroll by 12-15. That is, it's a key issue if one person doesn't have insurance under the old system. But under Obamacare suddenly millions without insurance isn't such a big deal.

It shows you their concern was never a lack of insurance.

The fact that the web-site doesn't work will be a benefit for Obama. It provides some cover. While millions are being kicked off their insurance plans, this gives the left time to regroup, adjust the blame, re-lie and re-manufacture a "It was the video" type strategy.

I suspect the web-site will be down until after the 2014 elections - with the promise that it will be awesome if everyone can just hang on... and oh... it's the Republican's fault anyway. hostage taking meanies...

It's echo chamber all over the place, multiple echo chambers all echoing back and forth reverberating through my cranny um.

I was just now looking at hot air, reading through the comments on Obama's apology. The comments respond to Obama's lying. The whole thing is about lying. And commenters link all over the place about lying. Every side, every angle on lying imaginable through art, poetry, cartoon, music, videos, essays, performance art, all about lying.

Those are links within the comments to the hotair post. They read "apology" and they're all answering in unison, everyone is, "liar." It's quite hostile and unforgiving.

It's easy to say that Obama is a liar. Hell, I've done it a lot of times. There is actually another possibility; maybe he is just a dumb fucking idiot, and he just opens his mouth and says things that he has no idea about. Seriously, other than win elections, name one accomplishment of his that has worked out well.

Christ, I'll be that he can't even dodge sniper bullets as good as Hillary!!

AllenS - Dumb? No. It's all deliberate. He wants the system to fail so he can impose single payer.

AllenS said...

Possibily, but I wonder if he evens know what single payer means. I'm sticking with "he's an idiot."
