Grooms blown away

Oh, I do like this a lot. Buzzfeed collects 24 shots of grooms blown away by the sight of their brides.

Bride porno is a vibrant sub-genre on the web!

What those ladies do shortly after the ceremony is enough to make a Bonobo chimp blush!

"ahhh... you're so pretty - and look at those perky breasts. I cannot believe you ever agreed to go out with me...*whimper*"

Young love.

Right, because pornographers are too ethical to just throw a wedding dress on any old actress.

Why can't we go out on the lake?

If you can make to the two minute mark, you are a better man/woman than me.

Does everyone know about the Jewish wedding custom of the groom lifting the brides veil to make sure the father of the bride has not pulled a fast one and substituted his hard-to-marry-off ugly daughter. Maybe these guys are just glad it is the right one.

"Didn't you think I ever looked pretty before?!"

I love weddings.

"Oh my God, I have to live the rest of my life w/ this bitch!"

LOL

More seriously, seeing that one guy break out into tears makes me think of the scene in "The Godfather" when the old Don slaps around the singer and tells him to be a man.

I mean, seriously, even if they haven't been doing the nasty prior to the wedding night, that still isn't an appropriate reaction. A LEAR would be appropriate in that case, but not tears....

Yeah but, that was different,...

Plus, that groom has an incredibly stupid haircut. Buy a comb, you damned hippie!

Rabel, That clip is hiarious, but strangely I just want to screw her anyway.

No wonder I'm nice to Inga, I have issues.

Oh shit, I said one of the magic words!

Oh well, too late. Sorry.

Wow, that THE way to go into a marriage. I was drunk at mine.

Metrosexual and emo is still in, huh?

Shouting Thomas said...

I was drunk at the conception of all my kids.

If not for alcohol, I'd be childless and grandchildless.

Thank God for alcohol. It helped me to override my better judgment.

"I'm about to go cra-zee-hee-hee-hee-hee!"

"You already have."

Yeah, I'm not sayin' anything about that....

Fun. Touching.

I'm surprised by how many cover their faces.

3.3 million hits -- everyone loves a happy wedding.

I still enjoy watching this wedding video -- 81 mil hits! They're not good dancers, some are not that attractive, the moves are amateurish, but they're going for it, and god bless.

I looked up some of the story on that video.

They only practiced for an hour and a half beforehand so it's not perfect, but it is magical. It's just ordinary people doing something a little bit special, a little bit fun and more than a little goofy on a special day.

I'm struck by how unselfconscious they seem. There is a real spontaneous joy that comes through. They had no idea their dance would become a big deal. If they had, they would probably have been scared stiff!

Speaking of old customs, we've all heard about that one where the groom has to hold a cloth out the window, or the bedsheet, or something, so witnesses can see the blood that proves the chick was a virgin?

Kind of makes you wonder what they did when it was two dudes banging for the first time.

The right girl in the right dress and, yeah, he will feel that way.

If she's smart, she'll keep it going for the rest of his life.

It has a long story behind it.

That wedding video fills me with joy every time I see it. Some seem like they actually cannot dance, yet there they are. Circle around and do it again, and the bride is not a spectacular beauty either and yet there she is simply and so beautiful. That heavy compact corpulent fellow surprisingly does a hand stand and prolongs it. You know, your blood goes straight to your head when you do that suddenly. You do occasionally do that. You quickly realize, this is the shit and probably not all that useful a skill. But occasionally attempt a handstand anyway.

I have heard about this video. I saw The Office takeoff on it. But, this is the first time I've see the real thing.

Oh, thank you creely! I just cried a little. So joyful!

rcocean said...

I cried at my wedding too. But it wasn't because Mrs. Rc looked so beautiful.

The Groom is simply there to be a brave little soldier/storefront dummy so the women can have their fun.

Hey, Edu, I have both Jews and Catholics in my family, and I am Presbyterian. I have been to each kind of wedding. We all read the Bible, and we all know about Leah, Rachel and Jacob, If that's what you mean about a long story. I think Rachel was probably redheaded and pretty hot. Jacob worked 14 years to get her. I think the 2nd time, he lifted the veil. I don't know how many ugly sisters she had.

Oops, I see that Edu had a link to the Leah, Rachel, Jacob story. Good.
